    Phonak Retentions- Classic

    Classic Phonak Retention Tails provide stability to hold your receiver (speaker) and dome in place. When we talk, chew or walk, our jaws move and as such, our ear canals change shape. This change in ear canal shape can lead to slippage of the dome which results in changes in performance of your hearing aid. We have retentions for both standard and power receivers. These retentions fit the Phonak Audeo hearing aids (Spice, Quest, Venture and Belong not Marvel).  Each order is for one retention.  

    Not sure which size to get? Look on the end of your receiver, where the dome goes on, and there will be either an "S" or "P" written with the length. S = Standard  P = Power.

      I have yet to use this particular package of retention locks , however they appear to be exactly like those I've ordered from TVA Hearing Products before, thus, a 5-star rating. Fine product, good delivery turnaround time, and good price.

      original tail was curved to fit in ear. this product is straight and stiff and would not fit in ear. Response from TVA Hearing Products: All of the retentions come straight. If you put them in your ear and wear them, they take the shape of your ear perfectly. Often the audiologist preshapes them to your ear. Since we can't see your ear, we cannot shape it. Your ear will shape it perfectly.
